(“New” series! But this might be the first and last one because I don’t know what else is going on for me to visit 😂)
I may not be the biggest Persona fan… but I’m still a big fan! I happened to be going to Osaka when I first saw the announcement on Siliconera, so I had to do whatever I could do go, even if it meant going immediately after spending most of my morning in another city. It was a looooong day, lol. I think the way it worked was that you had to get tickets the day of, so that morning I went to a Lawson convenience store and bought my ticket there. I wanted to get the limited edition goods, so I went for the more expensive option (~$30).

I went on a weekday afternoon, so it wasn’t crowded at all. I think there were less than 10 people total. And even though it was in the city, the venue seemed a little far…
It was a fun little exhibit! As I’ve only played Persona 4 and 5 (for now), some of the deep cuts and concept art behind 1 through 3 were lost on me. I especially like that the first two games are getting some representation!

No photos were allowed of course, but they had some designated photo spots and really cool 1:1 statues for some of the more well-known personas.

The merch options were fine. I feel like I own a lot of what I already wanted already — some official manga, some Nendoroids. I was hoping to buy the P25th FES P5R lanyard, but it was sold out. ☹️ However, I did buy some LeBlanc coffee and I can’t wait to have it with some curry.
