What is blogging? How do I Photoshop? Long time no see to whoever is still reading my blog. I had a really busy April for mostly school related reasons, but I am free (for now). Some tings:
🕹️
I am playing Persona 5 and I will get around to talking about it eventually (because hoooooooooooooooooooly shit y’all… but if you want to see my trash tweets about it follow me here: @spacelovesdisco), but I think it’s important that I pour one out for Persona 4. It’s a miracle that in the 9 years the game was released and the 5 years I started and never finished the game I was never spoiled by any of the major plot points. And gosh was it MAJOR. It was twisty, dark, and VERY GOOD. I just find it a little funny that the big bad omniscient guy is always a floating eyeball. What an incredible battle it was though, even if it took me three times to do! Finally completing that game felt like I was really saying goodbye to people I held near and dear to me! So yes, if you were wondering, I did cry during the last convo with Nanako. NANAKO :(
Fire Emblem Heroes is another game that makes me cry, but for entirely different reasons (lol). This is my first real foray into mobile gaming since I never had the battery life or the patience to deal with them, and my first experience with the gacha mechanic. Let me tell y’all… it sucks. I wouldn’t call myself a whale, but let’s say I’ve maybe poured an embarrassing amount of money (embarrassing for me, OK) into getting more orbs just to get the unit I want. The game dropped in mid-to-late February and I’ve since switched to F2P and focused on strengthening my units because I’m tired of giving Nintendo my money for a stupid mobile game!!!!! This current banner is really testing me though… lordT…
🎵
Some albums I’ve really loved lately:
- Kendrick Lamar – DAMN.
- HYUKOH – 23
- JONGHYUN – 종현 소품집 ‘이야기 Op.2’
- Zion. T – OO
I managed to score floor tickets (!) to Kendrick’s concert this summer, so that’ll be a good time. And because I’m me, I’ll probably cry hearing “DUCKWORTH.” live lolololol
📺 (???)
Because I’ve been so busy with gaming lately, I haven’t been watching as many dramas as I want to. I barely finished the ones I started this past winter, but I’ll save all that for my spring ’17 round up. HOWEVER, I did watch a Japanese movie for the first time in ages (mostly because I was thirsting 👅💦 over Nagase Tomoya/listening to a lot of TOKIO): Too Young To Die! It was penned by Kudo Kankuro, so I knew I was going to love it and I did.
